Railyard is a collaboration hub for business and design students to work on real client projects and get their own agency exposure. Business and design students rarely get the opportunity to work together during their education, and both can learn from each other and that relationship should be fostered and encouraged.
Funded and birthed by Dossier Creative Inc, the idea for Railyard started in 2011 but didn't fully come into existence until the summer of 2013. When Taylor Ward and I joined Dossier as creative interns our first project was to brand Railyard. We developed the logo, brand standards, and brand DNA. After my term Roxanne Henschke joined the team and helped create and build the website.
